Tools to Allow Students to Demonstrate Competency
21st Century learning is about more than getting good grades and answering questions on a test. In order for students to be successful in tomorrow's world, they must be able to communicate effectively, collaborate with others, think critically and be creative. To help students develop these skills as they learn required curriculum, teachers need to learn new ways to teach and assess. Competency based activities provide students ways to demonstrate understanding and ability beyond taking a test. This course shows teachers several digital tools that support student demonstration of competence and how to assess their work.
