Here is the course outline:

Session 1: Introduction to HMH Resources (Live Call; 90 minutes)

During Session 1, we will have our first collaborative LIVE call, where you will begin to explore the ins and outs of HMH's online curriculum and resources. You'll learn to log in, navigate, and find useful resources for your classrooms. In addition, you will have a chance to ask questions, explore the platform, and receive expert guidance from your NCCE Professional Learning Specialist support system.

Session 2: Navigating the HMH Curriculum and Website (Self-Paced Learning; 3 hours)

In this second session, through a guided exploration using the 5E model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate), you will develop a deeper understanding of the HMH platform, its diverse resource offerings, and innovative methods to align these resources with their curriculum.

Session 3: Innovative Techniques for Integration (Live Call; 90 minutes)

Join us in this session to further explore the ins and outs of HMH's online curriculum and resources. In session 3, we will expand upon our use of the HMH curriculum, while exploring the concept of student-centered learning, competency-based assessments and data collection, and student ownership of learning in the classroom.

Session 4: Mastering Interactive Resources with HMH (Self-Paced Learning; 3 hours)

It's time to transform your creative ideas into action. This session offers an opportunity to explore a diverse range of methods, models, and strategies for utilizing HMH. Participants will have the flexibility to choose what they want to explore within HMH, specifying the topic, grade level, HMH program, and standards they wish to concentrate on to develop a student-centered lesson plan.
