Welcome and Introduction

Research shows that establishing mechanisms for student-to-student interaction and providing formative and summative feedback at critical junctures in the learning process are vital to success. In this learning experience participants will explore best practices of providing quality feedback to improve student outcomes. They will also discover a variety of strategies and modalities in which to provide quality feedback. Participants will have opportunities to reflect on previous experiences with feedback and connect to new learning through performance tasks.

Prompt Feedback

In this module you will begin to understand the importance of giving students specific actionable feedback.

Strategy 1: Feedback Via Microsoft Teams

In this module you will begin to understand how Microsoft Teams can be used to give students feedback throughout instruction at critical learning junctures.

Strategy 2: Feedback Via Microsoft Forms

In this module you will be introduced to Microsoft Forms and begin to understand how it can be used to give students feedback.

Strategy 3: Feedback via OneNote Class Notebook

In this module you will be introduced to OneNote Class Notebook and begin to understand how it can be used to give students feedback.

Strategy 4: Feedback via Microsoft Word & PowerPoint

In this module you will be introduced to specific tools in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint that can be leveraged to enhance student engagement and empowerment.

Strategy 5: Microsoft Teams as a Classroom Digital Hub

In this module you will be introduced to navigating Microsoft Teams as we learn how to leverage its feedback capabilities as a learning platform.

Final Reflection and Connection

This course's final reflection summarizes each of our strategies for providing prompt feedback to promote student success.
