Communicating with Families

Research from the Harvard Graduate School of Education shows that frequent teacher-family communication immediately increases student engagement as measured by homework completion rates, on-task behavior and class participation. In this learning experience, participants will explore best practices in crafting communications with families by using tools like PowerPoint, Google Voice, Remind and Teams/Zoom.  Participants will have opportunities to reflect & review new learning and tools.
