This 10 week course will help guide you in preparing for the application and ensure you have the appropriate experience and documentation. **Please Note: Choosing this 10 week (10 hour) course will serve as your 4 course requirement for this school year.**

Building Quality Learning Experiences with SAMR

This 2 hour course will help teachers understand how to use SAMR to make intentional decisions about how they will integrate technology so that their students learn and are engaged with the content. Throughout this course participants will learn to apply the SAMR model to learning activities, create integrated lessons at the enhancement and transformative levels, and share artifacts and reflect on learning.

Building Your Personal Learning Network (PLN) - 3hr - Gallup

This self-paced course guides you through the process of building your very own PLN.

Communicating with Families

In this 90 minute learning experience, participants will explore best practices in crafting communications with families by using tools like PowerPoint, Google Voice, Remind and Teams/Zoom.  Participants will have opportunities to reflect & review new learning and tools.

Digital Tools for Independent Learning

In this course you will dive into why independent learning is so powerful for our students. You will explore a variety of digital tools that allow for student independence while producing data and feedback for the teacher that leads to student autonomy and content mastery. 

Elevate Student Voice with Online Tools - 3hr - Gallup

Are we providing ample opportunities to amplify student voice in meaningful ways that allow us to listen and respond to what really matters to students? This course will take you on a journey through the importance of student voice and technology tools to engage and empower students.

Promoting Social and Emotional Learning in Synchronous or Blended Learning Environments

During this three hour course, participants will identify their thoughts on social and emotional learning (SEL) in the learning environment, consider why SEL has earned attention and how it may be relevant in the learning environment, explore resources and practices to support student SEL, and develop a framework for implementing SEL practices throughout the learning day.

Seamless Integration of OneNote in Assignments

Tools to Increase Student Reading and Math Fluency

Reading and Math fluency are vital for students to master before higher learning can occur. This 2-hour course will explore what fluency is and is not and show many digital tools that support fluency development at all age levels.

In this 90-minute course, you will look at creating instructional videos for classroom use, explore tools for creating videos and how to add engagement to your instructional video.

Using T-PACK to Build Tech Lessons

This course focuses on TPACK, or Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. A framework for integrating technology and education, as well as a model for structuring classrooms to provide students with rich learning experiences.
