Here is the course outline:
This course introduces educators to the powerful impact that Insights can have to support educators as a data point tool for engagement and measurement as well as learner-focused decision making. Insights provide the story and trends behind classroom data to better inform individual and whole class outcomes.
Data points that help educators meet individual learner needs is a valuable tool for supporting the individualization of instruction. In this module, participants will learn what features are available in Insights that can support an educator in their data-driven decision-making.
Participation can be hard to measure in the traditional classroom and the participation grade can sometime boil down to if the learner did the work or not. Measuring participation often does not consider a more holistic view of the student. In this module, participants will learn how to leverage Insights as a tool for measuring participation that will lead to more authentic assessment of the learner's participation and to more meaningful conversations around the needs of the learner.
Engagement is a word that comes up so often in education circles, what is it to us? What is it to our students? How do you measure engagement when we all have different motivations for learning? In this module, participants will be introduced to the tools within Insight that will allow you to measure engagement in your learners in a more holistic way that will allow you to measure engagement more authentically.
In this module, you will be asked to reflect on the features of Insights that allow you to measure participation, foster engagement, and leverage Insight tools to make better data-informed decisions about student learning.

Thank you for your hard work in this course. Congratulations!
