Course
This 2 hour course will help teachers understand how to use SAMR to make intentional decisions about how they will integrate technology so that their students learn and are engaged with the content. Throughout this course participants will learn to apply the SAMR model to learning activities, create integrated lessons at the enhancement and transformative levels, and share artifacts and reflect on learning.
Building Quality Learning Experiences with SAMR
The SAMR model was developed by Dr. Rueben Puendedura as a means by which teachers could evaluate how they integrate technology into lessons. The framework divides technology integration into four categories that include: Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition. This course will help teachers understand how to use SAMR to make intentional decisions about how they will integrate technology so that their students learn and are engaged with the content.
In this course participants will learn about the SAMR model, apply the SAMR model to learning activities, create integrated lessons at the enhancement and transformative levels, and share artifacts and reflect on learning.

Module 1: Learn about SAMR ModelIn this module, participants will apply their new knowledge about the SAMR model to discuss tech infused lessons using SAMR framework. |
Module 2: Integrate Tech into LessonsThis module gives participants the opportunity to blend technology into their lessons at two levels of the SAMR model and share their work with peers. |
Final Reflection and ConnectionIn this module, you'll complete the final reflection and connection for mastery. Good luck! |
